Peggy is a 1979 graduate of MSU. She has been with Dickman Road since 1990 and is currently our head technician. Peggy is married and has 2 children, 1 dog, 2 cats and 1 bird. Her interests include gardening and singing in the church choir. The favorite part of Peggy’s job is learning something new every day and having lots of contact with the animals. Her main interest at work is in learning more about small animal dentistry.

Sarah, LVT

Sarah graduated from MSU in 1988. She first came to our clinic in 1991 and then left for a time to be a stay-at-home mom. She returned in 2003. Her husband is a retired teacher for the Marshall Public Schools and her son is active in school sports, band. Sarah and her son are active in environmental issues and take all of our paper products to be recycled at least once a month. She owns 1 cat and 2 dogs. Her hobbies include running, tennis, swimming, reading, hiking and yard work.

Toby, LVT

Toby is a 1992 graduate of MSU and started with Dickman Road right out of college. Toby has a Scottie, and an African Grey Parrot. Her interests include gardening and making improvements to her house.

Jackie, LVT

Jackie is a 1995 graduate of MSU and was hired here shortly after graduation. Jackie has a son, two dogs, 2 cats, 3 horses and 3 dogs. Her interests include riding horses, quads and bikes; camping, fishing and spending time with her son.

Jennifer, LVT

Jennifer started working with Dickman Road in 2002 as a Veterinary Assistant. She went on to complete her degree and now works as an LVT. Jen has 2 dogs, 5 cats and 2 birds. Her favorite part of the job is sending animals home healthy after hospitalization or surgery. She likes all craft projects like knitting, candle making, papercrafts, and sewing. She also likes gardening, playing softball and spending time with her family.

Melinda, LVT

Education: Wayne Community College
Melinda has been a licensed veterinary technician since 2008; she has worked here at Dickman Road Vet Clinic since 2013. Her favorite part of the job is when she is able to help an animal have a good recovery.

Melinda has 2 cats and 1 dog, she enjoys reading, movies, motorcycle riding and snuggling with her fur babies.

Kristin, LVT

Kristen is a graduate of Baker College. Kristin has 2 dogs; Bullett and St. Paulie girl; 5 cats, and 1 horse. In her spare time she likes showing her quarter horse, knitting, crocheting, and reading.

Cyndi, LVT

Cyndi is a graduate of Baker College of Jackson and has been here to 2 yrs. Cyndi’s favorite part of her job is being the voice of the animal and being there for them. She has 2 dogs and 1 cat, Nero, Dexter, and Phill Bill. After work she likes cooking and having a good time with friends, she is also plays Roller Derby for Battle Creek Cereal Killers.

Lindsay, LVT

Lindsay is a 2007graduat from Bel- Rea Institute in Colorado. Lindsay likes emergency medicine, critical care, and surgery. Lindsay is soon to be married, and has 2 dogs, Keno and Chase; and a 3yr old cat Leopold.

In her free time Lindsay plays Ultimate Frisbee, reads, and likes taking photographs.

Kaylee’s favorite part of her work is seeing animals get better and go home. She has 2 dogs and 2 cats; Ruby, Piper, Wildfire, and Willow. In her off time she enjoys camping, gardening, and reading.

Katie, LVT

Chelsea

Chelsea started at Dickman Road Vet Clinic in December 2001 as a student; she has worked in every department in the clinic and is now working as a Vet Tech. Chelsea has 3 dogs, several cats, and pet rats. Chelsea also works for some community rescue agencies and also does foster care for kittens in her home.
